Ghostface was a menacing presence in the Scream franchise, and now he’s back. The fresh new poster for the upcoming movie shows Ghostface with his arm around Sidney Prescott as they stare into each other’s eyes.
The “scream 5 release date” is the upcoming fifth installment of the horror franchise Scream. The film will be released on April 20, 2019.
Two new images for the forthcoming sequel to Scream foreshadow the horror to come. The first one-sheet depicts the current Ghostface mask wearer wielding an ill-intent sword, mirroring the determined face of series heroine Sidney Prescott. But who will be the masked assailant this time?

The second poster is reminiscent of old magic-eye photographs, with Ghostface’s horrific gaping mouth and eyes buried behind the headache-inducing image. If you squint hard enough, you may see the horror emblem, who is accompanied by the chilling warning, “You’ll be seeing me.”

Scream introduces a new murderer, who has worn the Ghostface mask and starts targeting a group of adolescents to revive secrets from the town’s horrific past, twenty-five years after a string of violent murders stunned the calm hamlet of Woodsboro. Along with Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) reprise their iconic roles in Scream.
Scream, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Ready or Not, will be co-produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media. The script is co-written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak producing and Kevin Williamson executive producing.
The “scream (franchise)” is a horror franchise that was created by Wes Craven and has been going strong since the late 1980s. The latest poster for the series, which stars Emma Roberts as Sidney Prescott, was released today. The new poster features Ghostface taking a stab at her.
