As the year draws to a close, let us reflect on our favorite moments. For me, that would be hunting down one of my best friends and confronter in Justin “I ain’t got time for this shit” Fields in GTA Online.
“I Wish All My Fellow D-End Brothers Happy Hunting” is a poem written by the “undisputed saints” of the rap game. It is about how they would love to see their fellow brothers succeed.
In the NFL, the Carolina Panthers have become the talk of the town. Carolina can’t seem to stay out of the news, from Cam Newton’s return to the Panthers to Brian Burns’ contentious altercation with New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones.
While the Newton narrative is heartening, the Burns-Jones drama is significantly less so. During a play in Week 9, the two became mixed up, with Jones twisting Burns’ ankle and sending him to the ground.
Needless to say, Burns isn’t pleased with the situation.
Mac Jones has received a threatening communication from Brian Burns.
Another look at Brian Burns’ forced fumble (do you recall it?). It’s difficult to determine purpose, but Mac Jones seems to turn over while clutching Burns’ ankle. The screen’s bottom left corner. @SeanWSOC9 video pic.twitter.com/BQj6t7IJR8

Jones’ choice to grasp onto Burns’ ankle seemed deliberate from the outside. Even if he believed Burns had the ball (which he didn’t), the additional twist towards the finish of the play suggests Jones was planning something unpleasant.
Grasping an ankle or leg in the heat of the moment is one thing. It’s one thing to twist someone’s body part into an unpleasant position, but it’s quite another. That seems to be filthy.
For what it’s worth, Burns definitely agrees. Following the incident, the Panthers’ top edge rusher was visibly angry on the field, and his postgame remarks create a picture of someone who is furious. Burns’ direct message to Jones was one of vengeance, urging other NFL defensive ends to take heed of Jones’ shady behavior.
“An apology would be good, but it’s not going to happen,” Burns remarked. “However the NFL handles it, it is their responsibility. All I want to do now is play them again.
“I wish all of my D-end brethren a successful hunt.” “That’s it.”
Brian Burns has not received an apology from Mac Jones.
And here’s Brian Burns’ zinger on Mac Jones: “An apology would be good, but it’s not going to happen…. All I want to do now is play them again. And I wish all of my D-end brethren a successful hunt.”

To make things worse, the Patriots’ young starting quarterback seems to have no intention of ever apologizing to Burns. The play has elicited a strong negative response from the public, leading many to anticipate Jones will offer a formal apology. Jones, on the other hand, is merely attempting to move on from the event.
Jones said, “I previously handled that problem.” “I’m simply looking forward to playing with the guys on our squad this week in this game.” So we’re already making progress and getting ready to play this week.”
Jones does not have a good reputation, particularly during his debut season.
Is Jones dooming himself to a life of misery in the future?

Jones had a bullseye on his back that was more obvious than most before his first season. He was selected straight out of Alabama and into New England, two of the most powerful football programs on the planet. Jones was the center of attention.
Jones has mainly excelled in his first nine weeks of professional football, but this incident with Brian Burns, a renowned veteran, makes the bullseye on his back seem needlessly larger. Players from all across the league, particularly opposing defensive lineman, will take notice.
Jones may be subjected to a few harder-than-usual blows in the near future.
