September saw the latest release in the ever-popular EA Sports gaming series. Incredibly, this is the 32nd  soccer instalment in this legendary set of simulation games, and it’s fair to say that hype almost broke the internet. Soccer and gaming fans were excited enough, but add in the lines offered up by some of the top casino sites online on some of the game settings, plus celebrities getting in on the act on their social media pages, and you had a full on circus before the game was even released. Among other things, people couldn’t wait to see the player ratings bestowed upon the world’s best.

But whatever your favorite way to play EA FC, there’s one thing that any gamer knows, and that’s how horrible it is to come up against a player with genuine pace. Hence casual players and professional gamers alike love to stock their team with that important attribute, and that in turn influences the kinds of lines and numbers you see on outcomes among sports betting who offer up lines on this incredibly popular virtual sport.

So we’ve decided to run down a list of the fastest players to feature in the latest edition of the game. And the name at the top won’t come as a surprise to many.

15th to 20th position – Rating of 93

Six players have been given a rather rapid speed rating of 93 in the latest edition of EA FC. Perhaps the best known of the six is recent Liverpool signing Federico Chiesa. The Italian international, who won the European Championships with his country in 2023, is a tricky speedster who will almost certainly light up the English Premier League.

He is joined on an impressive rating of 93 with other Europe-based players Mohamed Amoura (Wolfsburg), Sheraldo Becker (Real Sociedad), Trent Buhagier (Brescia) and Sirlord Conteh (Heidenheim). They are all joined by Muteb Al Harb of Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

8th to 14th position – Rating of 94

Six players achieved a sensational pace rating of 94 in the new game. These include three female players in the shape of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin’s Tabitha Chawinga plus Washington Spirit duo Rosemonde Kouassi and Trinity Rodman, making the American side perhaps the paciest in the female game. The three female players are joined by three male counterparts in the guise of Brentford’s Kevin Schade, plus two young stars of the game: Inaki Williams of Spain and Athletic Club, as well as Rafael Leao of AC Milan and Portugal.

3rd to 7th position – Rating of 95

There are some bona fide superstars of the men’s game among the players featured from positions three to seven on the latest EA FC speed list. Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is joined by Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez as high-profile internationals who perhaps could have made the grade as top sprinters.

Moussa Diaby of Al-Ittihad and formerly of Aston Villa join those players at that 95 grade, as does young Brighton flier Yankuba Minteh, leading the next generation of speedy soccer stars.

2nd position – Rating of 96

Only one player secured a rating of 96: Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi. The German is known for his big head of hair, but it certainly doesn’t slow him down, as this impressive pace rating attests to. Indeed, it’s enough to claim a secondary second on this prestigious list.

1st position – Rating of 97

Only one player on EA Sports FC 25 has an eye-wateringly speedy rating of 97, and it will come as little surprise to most that it’s the same player who topped the charts last time: Kylian Mbappe. The only difference this time around is that the French superstar no longer represents Paris Saint-Germain but dons the white of Real Madrid. With teammate Vinicius Junior on 95, it’s clear to see that plenty of defenses will be terrorized by this darting duo as Madrid look to win La Liga and retain the Champions League.
